These is a range plan from an unreleased collection. This collection was inspired by the idea of perspective. We looked into what an ant would see if it explored a picnic. Looking at items from the view of such a small insect meant that proportions and perspectives were skewed.

For example we took inspiration from seeing condensation on glasses which inspired the blue gradient jeans with a faint condensation print to emulate the idea of a wet glass. We also looked into shadows and found cyanotypes, which inspired garments such as the dark blue skirt with nature prints in the cyanotype style and a matching skirt/ top with a loose pleated overlay to emulate the idea of wrapping things up to take to a picnic.  

An odd choice for a collection but it created some great designs and amazing technique development utilising textures and prints. The range plan consisted of casual wear, transitional day-night pieces and loungewear
